2/3/2010: The trails are in bad shape still after the warm weather and lack of snow.
1/21/10: The trails are all groomed for the weekend, please still use caution with no fresh snow.
1/17/10: With still no snow the trails are not great. Many down to dirt & grass please use use extreme caution.
12/15/09: Happy trails! The trails are finally open today. We went out for the first time with our new roller and packed the 4"-6" of snow which leaves us with a minimal base. Please use extreme caution and watch for rocks that may be showing until we receive more snow.
02/24/09: The trials are in excellent shape after receiving over 12" of snow yesterday!
02/22/09: The trails were just groomed so the trails are as good as they can be considering how little snow we have left.
02/15/09: The continued warm weather is now taking it's toll on the trails in Williamstown. There are many spots of ice on banks and grassy spots in many areas. Please use caution while riding, many icy spots are on corners.
01/09/09: Even after we had rain on Saturday and weather in the 40's the trails still aren't bad. In some spots you may see some frozen water on exposed hill side but all in all they are still very ride able. The banks are still very high so use caution around road crossings.
01/04/09: The trails were all groomed last night so they are in excellent condition. Please use caution for signs that might be buried in the snow.
01/03/09: After over 12" of snow falling Wednesday and the groomer going out last night the trails are in excellent condition. Please watch for any fallen signs at road crossings that snow plows may have knocked over.
01/26/09: Now that we have had a nice cold snap the trails are frozen and
solid with a medium base. The trails have some moguls leaving the valley then
smooth out when you reach the top. With a sizable snow storm moving in for
Wednesday the base should be much better.
12/22/08: After the last three storms this week we have around 30"+ of snow and the trails are open. We are still trying to get them all groomed.
Previous Season Trail Conditions:
02/19/08: After yesterday's 50 degree weather we lost quite bit of snow but we still have plenty to ride. The trails are all packed with a glazing on them and there are some icy spots.02/16/08: The trails are perfect now! We have a beautiful base and with the cold weather we have been having the snow is frozen. The trails are in great shape for today's Poker Run. Good luck to all!
02/12/08: The trails are in great shape since we received about 18" of new snow! With another 12"-18" coming tonight and tomorrow the trails will be the best we have seen in years once the groomer can groom the new snow.
01/25/08: We have groomed half of the trails with the other half being groomed tonight. There is still limited snow pack so be careful. The groomer has filled in many low lying water areas with snow so many areas are much better than they have been for the last couple weeks.
01/20/08: The trails are still open in our area with limited snow pack.
01/13/08: Even though there isn't enough snow left after the warm to groom the trails they are still surprisingly not is bad shape. Please use caution.
01/6/08: The trails are pretty well covered with the last 6" storm however there are some good size dips where there is running water along some low lying areas.
12/30/07: After the big storm the trails have nice snow coverage.
